Share the Wealth – There’s Enough Of It To Go Around!
One of the biggest challenges you will face when you start up your home based business is how to keep feeding the blog you’ll need to help you generate traffic. Well it will come as no surprise to you when I tell you that there are hundreds of us out there trying to figure out what to blog next. Consider what I’m doing right this minute. I am making this part of the story up but I fully intend to add a section from a fellow blogger to pad this article out. Here it comes now…
Sometimes I wondered why things were not picking up for my internet business. Well it was because I was nervous that possibly I might be considered the used car sales guy of the web. Now I know there are plenty of you out there that are hoping to make it rich without letting your closest friends know.
Well the quickest way to get customers is just to believe that they will see what you see in your business. Be passionate and not afraid. Word of mouth is powerful. If you have a product or service try getting on Facebook or Twitter. Advertise to your friends. If they are your friend they will tell their friends you do not share. What I like about the social networking aspect is they (friends) cannot say you never told me. Maybe word will spread faster than you think.
My friend started her own salsa dip company. She had fifty plus orders in a day. The day when she let her dream out. Just go out and say “I am here”. O.k.. I know that is so obvious. Well then do it.
First, talk to your closest friends if you have not. Second, get out and advertise on social networks. Third, do some advertising free and otherwise. Business cards are huge. Give that to your friend. That is a conversation starter! All I am saying is “do not hide”. Tell everyone you can, serve them well, and build a reputation. If they do not know they will not know. “Build it and they will come” only worked in the movie!
And as simple as that you have yourself some content. I like the article above and I adjusted a couple of things, however not enough to be able to claimn it as my own. When this happens, you absolutely must credit the author by including his details and a link in the article you have just written. You will find that information below. I hope now that you can see how easy it is to add content to your blog. Kepp doing it and soon enough people will be lifting your stuff for their blogs…who knows – I might even borrow it one day!
Keep moving forward people!
