December is almost upon us – Christmas will be occupying many of our thoughts more and more each day and the world that is home based internet marketing will continue to make plenty of people richer and richer by the second. So the question I’m asking myself right now is “when do I start making all this money everyone talks about?”

It was about seven or eight months ago that I started to think seriously about starting up my own home based business. I had been searching for a job and surfing the net and my inbox was filling up with unwanted “spam” from a load of people promising me riches beyond my wildest dreams – that I could earn without getting out of my P.J.’s

As the pandemic that is Swine flu continues to spread around the world, the effects of this terrible virus are being noticed everywhere. People are wearing surgical masks to do their shopping, sales of anti-bacterial hand gels are going through the roof, childrens’ parties are being cancelled or numbers severely limited and, most significantly, doctors have closed their offices to any patients who might be suffering from “flu-like” symptoms for fear of spreading the virus to their other patients. Sadly I must also report that the virus has spread to the world of the home based internet marketers as well.

If you’ve ever used excuses to avoid taking action on something you wanted to do, you were likely laboring under an illusion. Excuses can seem incredibly strong and valid at times, to the point where we end up believing they are absolute truth. However, excuses can not only cause us to miss out on a few opportunities, they actually have the power to destroy our lives if we let them.
